Curation & Concept: Deniz Beser

KampileSanat is an interdisciplinary art camp organized from 2008 to 2012. At this event, artists find the opportunity to camp together in a island and produce art. Working on different disciplines for 4 days, artists take inspiration from nature and collective production and realize their art works.

Young artists from different countries and Turkey participated in the camp to develop solidarity practices within a non-profit organization. In first four editions, the collaboration of artists was taken place at Burgazada(Islands), Istanbul as an open camp. For the fifth edition of ”Kampilesanat”, there was 14 artist from different disciplines -painters,sculptors, video and performance artists , musicians, photographers. Last edition took place in Tuzla, a peaceful Marmara Sea-place near to Istanbul
