The exhibition brings together artists from Vienna who deal with the topics of migration and archives, as well as with the current political situation in Turkey. The artistic works deal with questions of representation and visibility and talk about remembering in the context of migration. What is the connection between visibility and political power? Who is allowed to see and how? The title of the exhibition Another Country / Bir başka ülke refers to a poem by Konstantinos Kavafis (1863-1933).

The project was developed in cooperation with the VBKÖ and kültüř gemma!, an initiative to promote migrant positions in art and culture.
